The program is currently under the direction of Kendra Peña, an alumna of John B. Alexander High School (Class of 2018). Having served as Co-Captain during her time as a student, Ms. Peña returned to her alma mater after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education from the University of Texas at Austin. Her leadership bridges the team’s rich history, ensuring that the Dazzler Legacy continues to thrive.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The 2025-2026 John B. Alexander Dazzlers are an elite, award-winning dance team comprising 47 dynamic, talented young ladies. These dancers will dazzle you with their passion, creativity, and precision while leaving their legacy and redefining excellence in dance.

The Dazzler Elite
Dance Company
In addition to the team, the program features the Elite Dazzler Dance Company. This select group of dancers focuses on advanced choreography and often tours and performs alongside the award-winning Outdoor Performance Ensemble (the Alexander Band) at football games and band competitions.
