Mission Statement

The Guidance and Counseling Department’s mission is to implement a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes student success through academic achievement, prevention, and intervention activities, and to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social-emotional and career development, ultimately increasing students' admission to and success in institutions of higher learning.

We envision a future where all our graduates are well-prepared to succeed in college, in their careers, and in life. We strive to cultivate critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and compassionate individuals who will make a positive impact on their communities and the world.

GOAL #1 – United ISD will partner with students, families, staff, and community members to address the unique learning needs of each student and to create meaningful and engaging opportunities for each child.

GOAL #2 - United ISD will ensure that each student meets or exceeds the appropriate expectations related to intellectual growth, physical development, and social-emotional well-being.
